This subseries contains Art Dept. ephemera, memos and promotional material in addition to several booklets related to departmental long range planning and departmental self study as part of the accreditation process through WASC. This also contains ephemera related to the Art Department galleries, including the Henley Galleria and Guggenheim Gallery.

Biographical / Historical
Since its inception in 1927 as part of California Christian College in Los Angeles, the Art Department has supported the liberal arts curriculum of the institution through its offerings in art history and art appreciation. Since then, the curriculum has expanded and includes studio art, photography, and graphic design.
