This sub-group contains photographs of famous people who spoke or performed as part of the Chapman College Artist Lecture series. It also contains the series brochures, flyers, and ephemera. One folder contains the manuscript notes of Louise Booth about the series for her book, Fulfilling a Dream: The History of Chapman University.

Biographical / Historical

The Artist Lecture Series began in 1956, and then ran from the 1958-59 academic year until 1976. This series brought a variety of prominent people to Chapman College from arts and literture, politics and government, religion, science, anthropology, journalism and television news.
