Scope and Contents

This series contains photographs belonging to Col. Arthur L. Hecht taken mostly at Fort Bliss, Texas while he was stationed there in the late 1940s. The photographs are black and white, and there are no notes or dates to distinguish location or timeframe. Also included is one scrapbook from Col. Hecht's time in Japan that includes paper envelopes, notes and ephemera, one portrait of Col. Hecht on foamboard, as well as four black and white panoramas of units with which Col. Hecht served during the Second World War. Two folders came out of binders labelled "Fort Bliss Years--Vol. I-II."
