Scope and Contents

This series covers the years of 1930 to 1954 of the Lindbergh family. The primary subjects of these photographs are World War II and the America First Committee, which was a group Charles A. Lindbergh was involved in that sought to keep the United States out of World War II. Photographs include Charles A. Lindbergh speaking at the America First rally and at a peace rally in Soldier Field (1941, Chicago, IL); candid photographs of Charles A. Lindbergh and wife, Anne; Charles A. Lindbergh in Germany; and Charles A. Lindbergh with individuals such as Sol Bloom, Henry Ford, Hermann Goering, and General George C. Kenney.
