Burris G. Wood World War One service banner
Scope and Contents
This collection contains the service banner that Burris G. Wood's parents hung in their window to commemorate their son's service in the U.S. Army during World War One. Wood served as a medic and this shown on the hanger by the inclusion of a caduceus and the word "medical" at the bottom of the hanger. In addition there is a cap cord in the colors of the army medical service.
