Samuel W. Ellis First World War correspondence
This collection contains the photocopy of one correspondence written by Samuel W. Ellis to his father, Samuel H. Ellis during the First World War. He was stationed at Verdun. At the end of the war, the men in service were directed to write a letter to their fathers describing some of their experiences. This collection also came with a page of biographical information, talking about Ellis' life after the war.
