Sig Gaczewski First World War correspondence
This collection contains the transcription of one correspondence by Sig Gaczewski to a friend named Katherine during the First World War. Gaczewski served in the Medical Department in the American Expidtionary Forces. In the letter Gaczewski talks about having received four wounds the day before the letter's date. He goes on to describe what living has been like, being shelled and gassed by the Germans.
