This collection contains a transcription of one correspondence written by F.A. Francone to his family during the First World War. In the letter, dated November 12, 1918, Francone describes a battle with German soldiers. They were ordered to stop firing and the German soldiers put down their weapons. The battle ended because of the signing of the armistice the day before.
