This collection contains a spiral bound book of transcriptions of correspondence written by Pvt. Donald M. Briscoe, USMC to his parents during the Second World War. Briscoe served as a sniper scout in the Pacific Theater with the 26th Regiment, 5th Division of the Marine Corps. Also included in the book are pages of supplemental information and photocopies of photographs and propaganda.
