This collection contains approximately 70 correspondence from Sanderson Platt Stacy during and after the Civil War. Also included are some photographs of Stacy, discharge papers, orders and other military documents, as well as pamphlets relating to units with which he served. In his fourth deployment, he served as a white officer for the 43rd Regiment; an African American unit.
