In October 1944, she wrote her family from Belgium and described the day to day of her time in Europe, adding a photograph with a young Belgian soldier. In December 1944, she wrote her sister and mentioned Paris being boring, and maybe visiting GI's in the hospital "for some excitement." In September 1945, a telegram was sent from the American Red Cross to her mother...
