The Leatherby family papers consist of financial and business documents as well as other materials belonging to Ralph William Leatherby and his family. The collection also includes items pertaining to the individual achievements of the family, photographs, and other various items.

This collection contains materials produced by the Office of Student Affairs and its predecessors from 1938 to 2016 during the process of planning, organizing, and funding Chapman College, Chapman University College, and Chapman University commencement ceremonies for undergraduate and graduate students.

These records contain ephemera documenting the off-campus centers of education associated with Chapman University from 1958 when they were called Residence Education Centers (REC's), to Academic Centers, to University College, and to the present day Brandman University. The Pacific Afloat College Education (PACE) was a subset of the REC's.
