The Leatherby family papers consist of financial and business documents as well as other materials belonging to Ralph William Leatherby and his family. The collection also includes items pertaining to the individual achievements of the family, photographs, and other various items.

The Real Estate, Buildings, and Grounds Committee series contains reports and documents relating to the Fryman Estate (Briarcliff) property in Los Angeles, the West Plaza Shopping Center in Phoenix, Arizona, Texas Insurance Loans, deeds for the Orange campus from the Orange School District, and reports and documents regarding Orange campus buildings, Planning Council meetings, and rehabilitation and engineering reports.

Scope and Contents This series contains Christmas tree ornaments in the shape of various Chapman University campus buildings made of bronze. The ornaments were manufactured because the President's Office commissions a Christmas Tree ornament each year designed after a building on campus.
