This subseries contains the notes and drafts related to the writing of Charles C. Chapman's autobiography, Chares C. Chapman: The Career of a Creative California 1853-1944, which was edited by Donald H. Pflueger, published by Anderson, Ritchie, and Simon, Los Angeles, 1976. Divisions pertain to the thematic chapters of his book.

Contains files on the history of the University on the Orange campus beginning in 1954 and including information on campus symbols, flags, the Chapman Hymn and songs, the Heritage Committee Report of 2001, the Chapman mace and the unique heritage in Orange, and the cornerstone relaying. Includes a folder called, Year in Review, that covers highlights from 1997-2002.

This collection consists of reel-to-reel audio tapes of events captured throughout Chapman University's history. Digital surrogates of the audio reels are also included as part of the collection.

The papers of Charles C. Chapman include files he personally kept and organized and a few items such as his academic robe, some photographs and some citrus fruit labels that his family deposited at a later date. Charles C. Chapman's papers include his files pertaining to his long association with Chapman College, speeches he gave on over 400 occasions, copius notes by topic for his autobiography, pamphlets and news articles of interest to him, and personal and business papers.

This collection contains 77 episodes of Dialogue with Jim Doti, produced by Panther Productions, Chapman University.

The Ernest and Ruth G. Hosking Family Photo collection spans the period of the mid 1800's to about 1920, and contains photographs of Ernest and Ruth at different ages. In addition, there is a Hosking family album compiled by Carrie J. (Hostlander) Hosking.

The Real Estate, Buildings, and Grounds Committee series contains reports and documents relating to the Fryman Estate (Briarcliff) property in Los Angeles, the West Plaza Shopping Center in Phoenix, Arizona, Texas Insurance Loans, deeds for the Orange campus from the Orange School District, and reports and documents regarding Orange campus buildings, Planning Council meetings, and rehabilitation and engineering reports.

The Board of Trustees series papers relating to Irvin C. "Ernie" Chapman's various roles on the Board, including minutes, correspondence and reports, that span from the 1930's to the 1990's.

This collection consists of one DVD pertaining to Psychology Prof. Ronald L. Scott, Ph.D.'s retirement from Chapman University.

Personal scrapbooks of Charles C. Chapman of mostly newspaper clippings on topics of interest to him--politics, religion, family, Chapman College and the citrus industry and cover Southern California cities such as Los Angeles and Fullerton where he resided. The 10th and final scrapbook was assembled following his death on April 6, 1944 and consists of obituaries and condolences.

This series consists of sixteen folders pertaining to Hesperian College Records, which includes presidential correspondences, ephemera, photographs and a ledger.
