Japan -- History
Found in 2 Collections and/or Records:
This series contains three miscellaneous items: one card from Paris, France with Christmas Bells, one map of Japan with Japanese text, and one postcard with German or Austrian writing. The postcard was possibly found by Capt. Gretchen H. Yoffa during her service in the Second World War. It is from someone in Austria and sent to someone in Germany just months after the German invasion of Austria. The postcard is dated August 26, 1938 and has a picture of the town of origin.
This series of photographs contains early photographs of the Lindbergh family covering the years 1925 to 1974. Photographs include portraits of Charles and Anne Lindbergh, family photographs, candid photographs of their trip to Japan (1931), and group photographs with family friends.
