Overview The papers of Charles C. Chapman include files he personally kept and organized and a few items such as his academic robe, some photographs and some citrus fruit labels that his family deposited at a later date. Charles C. Chapman's papers include his files pertaining to his long association with Chapman College, speeches he gave on over 400 occasions, copius notes by topic for his autobiography, pamphlets and news articles of interest to him, and personal and business papers.

Scope and Contents The Church Relations Committee files are in the form of minutes, reports, and promotional literature. This Committee assumes responsibility for promoting good relations between the University and the the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). It also prootes the involvement of all religious bodies in recognition of the non-denominational spirit of the University.
Overview This collection is the papers of Irvin C. "Ernie" Chapman, '33, and contains documents relating to his service as a trustee of Chapman University, and also contains personal documents, such as ephemera relating to his travels to Europe.

Scope and Contents Series VIII is a Report in 1955 to the Board of Education of the Disciples of Christ of the Survey of Chapman College after its move to Orange County. Also included in Series VIII is: 2 copies of pamphlet entitled "The Church and the Christian College" A pamphlet entitled "Higher Education for Christian Leadership" Shares box with RG 16 Series V.-XI.
