This record group contains the material relating to the Board of Trustees and the Board of Governors as well as material relating to individual trustees such as George Argyros and Harmon Wilkinson.

This subseries contains material collected by J.E. Wilkinson during his tenure on the Chapman College Board of Trustees. Included are meeting minutes from 1937-1940, correspondence, newsletters, and other administrative paperwork related to various Chapman College policies, events, and presidents.

Scope and Contents The Wilkinson papers consists of correspondence, minutes and other paperwork related to J.E. Wilkinson's membership on the Board of Trustees as well as Harmon Wilkinson's, membership. In addition, there are a small number of photographs, ephemera and a small Conscientious Objector pamphlet collection.Wilkinson's father, J.E. Plaque 2 consists of a photo of George Argyros as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, along with a quote. Both plaques are in the art rail slot 1 back.
