Scope and Contents
This series contains photographs of various African-American political figures from 1964 to 1975. The majority of the photographs are press photographs depciting political leaders, rallies, and voting campaigns. Political figures include James Meredith, Kenneth Gibson, Charles Evers, Walter E. Fauntroy, Ralph Abernathy, Carl B. Stokes, and Los Angeles mayor, Tom Bradley. Another notable photograph include a photograph of Kathleen Kennedy (daughter of Senator Robert Kennedy).
