Scope and Contents This series contains one newspaper and one clipping. The clipping is a poem in English from a French paper sent to Hecht's mother, with handwritten notes. The newspaper is the Ninth Division Anniversary Edition paper from Fort Bragg August 1, 1941. Of particular note is the newspaper's neglect of the war in Europe.
