Scope and Contents This series contains 87 small photographs in black and white depicting the time that Capt. Gretchen H. Yoffa spent with the American Red Cross Clubmobiles in Japan. There are photos of Japanese locals, the Clubmobiles and the women that ran them, Japanese architecture, Nagasaki and the aftermath of bombings, horse riding, and some other shots of men in uniform. There is also a group of photographs depicting a small military function, perhaps a small parade, on a baseball diamond. ...

Scope and Contents

This series contains patches and armbands for Second World War uniforms collected by Col. Arthur L. Hecht, USA. Included are several United States Army patches such as the 9th Army and several other units, as well as rank and name badges. Also included are armbands and patches from Nazi uniforms. The folder contains four pages of informational pictures and photocopy of a book page from A Comrade in Arms.
